With its BGA adapter system, E-tec offers a cost-effective solution. First, mount a base adapter on your boards (it emulates the BGA chip footprint exactly). You can then insert either an E-tec BGA test socket or the “solder adapter” (which is mounted with a BGA chip) into this adapter.
